Year One Phonics Screening check
Key Stage One
KS1 SATs in England were made non-statutory, meaning they became optional, starting from the academic year 2023 to 2024,
Internal assessments have continued but there is no expectation to publish the results.
year 4 Multiplication tables check (MTC)
The Multiplication Tables CHeck (MTC) is a statutory, on-screen assessment for Year 4 pupils, designed to assess their ability to fluently recall multiplication facts.
Key Stage Two
Children in Year 6 are assessed on their knowledge and understanding of the Key Stage Two curriculum through a series of statutory tests known as SAT’s. Writing is assessed against a set criteria.
