I started at Hullavington in September 2004 and left July 2011. Since then I have been welcomed back numerous times for work experience and any other support whilst I train to become a primary school teacher. One of my favourite memories has to be the wake and shakes we did every morning. Mrs Tudge was out teacher then, and her chosen song was Shine – Take That, I can still remember some of the dance moves we had! You could almost guarantee someone would be walking across the playground or coming to the classroom whilst we were dancing around, although they were usually reluctant to join in.

I look back fondly on my time at Hullavington. I was there from 2004 to 2011 and had many great friends there, some of whom I still have to this day. In one of my best memories, I crawl underneath rows of desks with my two closest classmates attempting to go undetected on some sort of mission – with the full knowledge of my year 2 teacher, Mrs Tudge, who was sitting across the room.

I began my studies at UCL in 2018 and now work as a student neuroscientist at a laboratory in London where I perform experiments that will contribute to our understanding of the brain.
